Calibration & Validation Specialist

Job description

1. Role in equipment qualification, calibration, and verification activities
Draft and review qualification dossiers for utility equipment (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ);
Review qualification dossiers for production equipment and testing equipment;
Supervise activities of external contractors performing qualification, calibration, verification, maintenance, and repair of utility equipment, production equipment, and testing equipment;
Develop plans for equipment qualification and calibration, including measuring instruments;
Participate in periodic re-qualification/equipment qualification.
2. Role in operation and maintenance activities
Monitor measuring instruments and perform internal calibration for measuring instruments;
Supervise/operate and maintain utility equipment systems;
Prepare maintenance plans for the plant facility and equipment;
Ensure execution and documentation recording in compliance with approved regulations and guidelines;
Check the implementation of relevant SOPs and participate in GMP training;
Archive documentation and records related to preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and usage logbooks in accordance with SOP procedures and GMP regulations.
3. Other tasks
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Technical Department.

1. Education and Qualifications
Minimum: College or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Automation / Applied Metrology.
2. Experience and Professional Knowledge
Over 2 years of experience in an equivalent position in a Pharmaceutical plant;
Professional knowledge: Well-versed in EU/WHO GMP regulations.
3. Competencies and Qualities
Meticulous and careful personality at work;
Capacity for self-learning and updating knowledge and regulations relevant to the job scope;
Ability to work independently, analyze problems, and effectively manage tasks within the scope of work.
